I knew when her birthdate was, as well as my dad’s. It was something the family all KNEW...birthdays of parents and grandparents and most of the kids, spouses and grandchildren.

It may have something to do with genealogy.

Speaking of which, I need to contact the “museum-archives” in the town my dad was born in and see if I can get copies of his school papers and transcripts. How much fun would that be? Bear in mind, he was born in 1890!
