Good question. I like my windows 7 machine AND my two XP machines.

It may be Windows Vista upgraded, but my computer runs 24 hours constantly and I haven’t had any problems since I built it a couple of years ago.

Until now the UI is too “different” than the previous ones (Win 7, Veesta, and XP) with a Start button and toolbar. Thirdparty freeware can emulate this UI and get most people comfortable enough to be productive. I would expect the newer OS to be more featureful and less subject to exploits.
