And if it weren't for global warming, we could have proven there was global warming in 2009.

a rocket carrying the original satellite plummeted into the waters off Antarctica minutes after soaring from Vandenberg Air Force Base along the central California coast.

Does this indicate a polar orbit?
I heard those were harder to reach?

The $468 million mission is designed to study the main driver of climate change emitted from smokestacks and tailpipes.

Save your money. All energy comes from the sun.

There is so much ego and marketable credibility invested in this dead fish, it will take a three hard winters to for some people to reexamine their understanding of "science."

Meanwhile, the stink coming from Al Gore's full diaper ruins the view for everyone else. The Military-Industrial-Science complex seems to be churning right along, launching them rockets.

Harrison Schmidt straightened a lot of people out. Can't think of a better Vice President.

(from the article):"Some of the carbon dioxide is sucked up by trees and oceans, and the rest is lofted into the atmosphere,
trapping the sun's heat and warming the planet."

Another example of Moose-limbs contribuion to the culture ,
as advocated by the "New , and Improved NASA ".
Transpiration and Photosynthesis of green plants require Carbon Dioxide .
The 'potted plant' in the White Hut just needs more "Chomb"
What a waste of Oxygen !

Let's say that NASA and global warming alarmists are right about global warming. It remains that the federal government must still address global warming concerns within the framework of the Constitution.
FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponent’s Argument

And speaking of NASA, the states have never delegated to the feds, expressly via the Constitution, the specific power to appropriate funds for space exploration or atmospheric study purposes. So right off the bat, NASA needs to do the following.

To preserve its very existence, NASA needs to encourage Congress to propose a space exploration and atmospheric study amendment to the Constitution to the states for ratification. And if the states choose to ratify the amendment then Congress will have the specific power that it needs to make appropriations bills to fund NASA for such purposes and NASA will be a hero.

But also consider that the states have never delegated to Congress, expressly via the Constitution, the specific power to regulate environemental issues even if atmospheric studies reveal problems. So both NASA and global warming alarmists also have to encourage Congress to propose an amendment to the states which would grant Congress the specific power that it needs to legislatively address environmental issues. And if the states choose to ratify that amendment then Congress will have the constitutional authority that it needs to protect the environment and global warming alarmists will be heroes along with NASA.
