I hope you’re never hired to ID dogs at the pound.

The rounded skull and low ear set pretty much rules out “Pit” and practically screams “hound”.

If I had to guess, I’d say something more like a Beagle/Lab mix.

A broad skull does not automatically denote “Pit”....no matter how badly you may *want* it to.

I spent a lifetime around packs of working Beagles.
