I get that it’s public land, and they shouldn’t just build whatever they want on it... but it’s an American flag on a mountaintop, what’s the big deal? It’s not as if they put a Cuban flag up there or something.

I’m surprised they didn’t leave the pole and hoist the U.N. flag. Aren’t all our parks and waterways controlled by them already?
