Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh was fired up on Wednesday following Sen. Thad Cochrans controversial victory over tea party-backed state Sen. Chris McDaniel in Mississippi on Thursday. Cochran reached out to traditionally Democratic voters blacks and union members in a last-ditch effort to beat McDaniel.
The Republican establishment sought victory via Democrat voters in the runoff, and they got them. Without the African-American vote from Democrat-leaning counties, Thad Cochrane would have lost by eight or nine percent last night, Limbaugh said, calling the tactic reprehensible.
Limbaugh cited a flyer, posted by journalist Charles Johnson that suggested McDaniel and the tea party wanted to prevent blacks from voting in the Mississippi runoff election on Tuesday. Cochrans critics allege the longtime senators campaign was behind the flyers.

Its not the first time. He slammed Mitt Romney for winning primaries like a liberal. Ignoring the rural areas and concentrating on the urban areas.
Has Rush said “It’s time” yet?
I hate the GOP, love Rush and the Tea Party.
Rush is right and was right on his very first day in Sacramento.
Just another example that we have a one party system in this country. The Treason party and the Treason lite party. And you can bet they are going to pull this BS in November and in 2016 by destroying every conservative candidate they can while pushing another RINO.
Then is it time?
Good for Rush. Someone needs to call out the party and Cochran over this.
What’s the frequency, Kenneth?
There's your GOP-e, folks. There's your lesser of two evils, actively engaging with the "real" enemy to keep conservatives shut out. No more nose-holding, no more "uniting." They are dead to me.
What’s new?
Our own government and their IRS hired guns are targeting innocent Americans while aiding and abetting terrorist...
The only way to defeat the GOP-e when they play games like that is to stay home and let the democrat win during the General election.
Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!
In full disclosure I admit that I am an unaffiliated conservative.
That said... When a party’s elite works against the wishes of it core, it’s time for a new party to be formed.
So did Reagan, but his message was one of less government and more freedom, not lies, deception, and fear to maintain more government.
“Someone needs to call out the party and Cochran over this.”
FoxNews is too busy talking about a baseball mascot that threw a hotdog at a fan.
I’m saving that photo. If I ever get another solicitation from the RNC or its ilk (for some reason they don’t send me much anymore, wonder why) a copy of it is going back in the postage-paid envelope with a few choice words!
No one ‘reached out” (Dear God above how I so hate those liberal buzzeords) to Democrats. A planned effort was carried out by GOP operatives to USE WILLING DEMOCRATS to go around the will of the actual GOP voter base and bench a conservative they believed they could not control.
Instead they jump in the back seat of the same limo they're all riding in.
Rush was even singing “Old McDonald had a farm, and on this farm he had a pig..” in reference to Thad’s odd comment about indecent things he’s done with animals. ROFL!
DITTO!!!!!!!!!
