1. with the face uncovered.
2. shameless; impudent; audacious: a barefaced lie.
3. without concealment or disguise; boldly open: a barefaced approach.
Origin: 1580s, "with face uncovered or shaven;" see bare + face. Thus, in a bad sense, "shameless" (1670s). Cf. effrontery.

I thought Tyrant was worth watching, but you don’t have to be paying constant attention, like you would to a mystery. Violent, too-I watched that novela about the narco family awhile after, and was struck by the similarities in the family interactions, corruption of the military and just about everyone else, etc...

You might be his only friend! I joke about encouraging my kids to go into dentistry but seriously it is the health care profession with the highest suicide rate.

Both of the dentists in this area-mine is one of them-are female. I’ve known her for a number of years, and she seems to be a stable person.
Interestingly, all three of the veterinarians out here within 15 miles are women, too-they seem more popular than some others, because people bring their animals to them even if another vet is closer. They see and treat animals from horses to more exotic pets...
