However, KC Dog Blog - the very same website - makes at least as good an argument that specific breeds, particularly pit bulls with assistance from rottweilers, are the issue when it comes to fatalities by specific breed.
I click in the KC Dog Blog's left hand categories and look up dog bite fatalities for 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014.
This 'dogbite.org has an agenda so trust us instead' website cites approximately 163 fatalities by dog attack since 2009, roughly 85 of which were by pitbull, 4 by "media or authorities called pitbull but at this website we think the dog was mixed", 16 by unknown - and otherwise you're getting many, many by feral packs, 12 Rottweilers, 6 German Shepherds, 8 Bull Mastiffs, 7 Huskys, 8 bulldogs, a Presa Canario, 3 Cane Corsos, a Chow, several Boxers, a mastiff/Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, one(?) retriever/lab mix, . . . any surprises there other than the retriever/lab other than the fact that no Dobermans appeared?
90+% of Dobermann “attacks” on record were done in the defense of their owners.
I see no problem there.
Don’t start nothin’, won’t be nothin’.
The bigger issue of DBO is their egregious use of multiple phony accounts linked to just a few people, spreading lies all over the interwebs.
Most of the fraudulent posters/supporters have “gone into hiding”.
[i.e..shut up and vanished due to legal issues]
Hardly a good example.
As I mentioned before, the self-same scum who own problem dogs piss themselves when in the presence of Dobes.
I see it all the time.
Have you ever watched a grown man snatch his Pit off the ground and run off ~carrying~ it, just because your Dobe poked his head out the car window at a stop light?
Had a whole pack of pit-brandishing, strip-mall terrorist yutes flee the sidewalk, into a parking lot because you and your Dobe came out of PetSmart?
I have.
It’s like they’ve seen Lucifer on a leash.
Crazy but true.
