The American team has a chance to move on to the next round of the World Cup Sunday when it takes on Portugal.

They are all good sports, if they are showing badminton at the Olympics I might watch it, water-polo, (team) handball, and so on.
That's a whole nuther kind of shooting. If they would hold their guns vertical as opposed to horizontal they would hit their “target” much more often.
Personally; I don't 'wet my pants' over ANY sport...they are all part of a 'bread and circuses' program designed to keep the people distracted from events that will actually affect their lives.
Many Americans would just prefer you keep your sissy sport at home...you don't see us pushing baseball to the people of Scotland.
Best. Post. Ever.
I have a feeling Portugal will not have Ronaldo start but will bring him on in the second half.
South Korea down 2-0.
Could Algeria be in the US future?
Make it 3.
Aigoo 3-0
Korea scores through the Five-Hole on that one.
Daebak! At least they’re not shut out. Good save too by the SK goalie
Very good goal by Algeria. They look good, I guess their last match will be versus Russia to decide who will advance in 2nd.
I’m a soccer novice (first game I’ve ever watched), but Algeria is much more aggressive than SK.
Goal! They’re allowed inside that box ?
This is actually becoming one more exciting soccer game of this World Cup, now Algeria 4 2 South Korea.
Respect to S. Korea for not giving up.
Yes, there are rules just like in our football, North American football.
I see a separate thread has been set up for USA/Portugal.
I really think momentum is with the USA, maybe Portugal has superior personnel but I really think the USA will win today. 2-1.
Korea probably remains alive in the World Cup after this game with 1 point from their draw with Russia. But it will be tough for them.
I think all of the teams have a chance, Belgium must already be advancing and Algeria very close.
Best ESPN promo ever, IMO.
Sam’s Army in the house. All rise.
