I know we have black bears in my town, because the police circulated pictures of one eating at a bird feeder less than a mile from me. I've never seen one. They have them in Colorado Springs. Here's a video of a bear stealing a dumpster from behind the Edelweiss Restaurant:

Here's a video of a bear stealing a dumpster from behind the Edelweiss Restaurant: I saw a video similar to that years ago, a bear was picking over a household dump in a wooded area and he came across an old electric stove with inviting odors from the oven. He rolled that stove end-over-end through the woods for several miles.

My sister in law has a house in rural Montana. She has had a mama grizzly and 2 cubs roaming her property and yard for the last few days. The game wardens have set up a trap in her drive way but so far they haven't caught her. She has a tag so she has been caught before and is wary. These are the most dangerous kind, the ones who hang around houses and come out in the daytime. I am glad I am not there. :[
