I think, I would put nothing past this government.
It is as corrupt as any on earth and worse than most.
All three branches have been corrupted by their quest for power and money. Add in a compliant media and I see things getting worse over the next few years.

They do this all the time. Had a friend participate once. It’s just a drill for First Responders is all. This, obviously, isn’t something you typically get any experience in doing.

Every time they “pull a punch” and something happens, there’s always a “simulation”/practice going on. Heads up to stay out of Houston.

I think it sucks! Where in Houston? (We are living, until further notice, in SE Houston. And not planning to come home for the 4th of July holiday weekend. Or we weren’t)
As a side note- or maybe not, something that has impressed me about Houston is that there are American flags EVERYWHERE. They sure started early if it’s for the 4th of July. The community we are staying in has flags, or multiples of them, on every boulevard. Maybe their commie mayor isn’t liking this too much?

They’ll do a regional disaster as a trial run to keep everyone indoors (curfew) and test 30% Martial Law. Perhaps attempt some weapons seizure like they did during Katrina ‘For public safety.’
Of course homeowners are safer during a disaster when they face looters WITHOUT their guns that got seized by DHS to ‘Keep them safe.’
One time I pulled into the parking lot at my apartment complex and there were all kinds of emergency people there. There was a guy laying on the pavement and EMTs were hovering over him. The guy that was down looked exactly like my son from where I stood and I started screaming and almost collapsed. The EMT rushed over and told me it was just a drill and had to check me out to make sure I was OK.
Would have been nice if us residents had a warning about the drill, and I told them as much.
