You, my FRiend, are in dire need of some education about Honey Bees, and would do well to go talk to a beekeeper to get your facts correct.
The fact is that many of the crops we grow and ENJOY today in the USA were not able to survive here before we imported honey bees from Europe and Russia. Why do you say that was not supposed to happen? Would you rather the USA have to import all those fruits and vegetables you love that are not native? For instance, the apple..... the only apple native to the USA is the crabapple.
The fact is that we would not be feeding the population of our country like we do without the honeybee.

I’m well versed in the history of honey bees. I know many beekeepers. They are biased, you know. They want to raise the emergency flag because their colonies “might collapse”. Gotta protect their interests. Sound familiar?
Honey bees didn’t exist west of Kansas until after 1851. But “miraculously” (in contrast to tunnel vision scientists) many areas were lush with vegetation. Crops in southern California were plentiful and tribes were able to grow corn and fruit all along the central valley. Corn, maize, beans, squash, crab apples, and many more. When the Spaniards gained control of the area, farming tripled, all without the help of the bees.
I will grant you bees are excellent pollinators, but they aren’t the only pollinators. In fact it’s the obnoxious fly that pollinates more flowering vegetation than any other insect in North America. Sure, our crops might be different, but we certainly aren’t going to go hungry if the European honey bees die off (which they won’t). So, if the fly population begins to die off, will this Marxist moonbat administration start yet another money-wasting, crony capitalist task force?
Another one legged chicken little argument on a wobbly 4 legged table.
