The killer bees are the problem.
Maybe they should ban windmills which conservatively kill over 600,000 bats per year along with untold numbers of birds.
Back around 1971 someone wrote that they were afraid of what the African bees would do when they reached the USA, as they were still down around Honduras.
Some scientist reassured everyone that when the African bees reached the US, they would have been genetically modified by inbreeding with the calmer European bees and there would be no problem.
It didn’t work.
