The five nastiest, most vile and downright evil women I have EVER encountered in all my years on planet Earth live right here in Red Hampshire. There are better words to describe them, but I wouldn't use such language.

Conversely; the women we met in Tennessee are absolutely wonderful...kind, courteous, compassionate. Polar opposites.

We moved to Tennessee (from California) in 2010 and agree with what you say. People here in general, not just the women, are “absolutely wonderful...kind, courteous, compassionate.” I’ll add “sincerely” to all of that. After California where people are friendly only if they want something from you, it took a while to realize they’re sincere, and trust the kindness.
