Local radio station reported yesterday that the Honduran ambassador said that Honduras does not want their kids back and will not accept them — they are the US problem now.
Ambassador: Deportation Of Child Immigrants May Violate International Treaty
It seems to me that whatever foreign “aid” the US is sending to Honduras now must be redirected to pay the costs of this unwanted “problem”.
And a new punishing tax should be placed on all products imported to the US from Honduras — to pay the costs of “the children”.
And a new punitive withholding tax should be imposed on any money transfer to any entity in Honduras.
And the ownership of any ship or aircraft that lands in the US after landing in Honduras must be confirmed by a new, possibly years-long physical review of every paper record associated with that asset, which we can imagine.
And Americans should be sternly warned about the dangers of being a tourist in Honduras — including putting them “in quarantine” when those tourists return to the US.
Of course, citizens of Honduras need not apply for visas.
