There was in the woman in the stands named, “Mary Cones”, and they were just chanting her name.
I seen her . . lol
Will they investigate FIFA”s bribe to Qatar for a World Cup?
Oh good grief! I have been to soccer matches in Latin America for 23 years, and the majority of their chants have always been X-rated and make references to ‘gays’ as well as other sexual odds and ends.
Jeepers, get a grip. What do you plan to do when some blogger writes something you don’t like about the NFL? Stop watching football?
You’re series?
“Get a Grip”? LOL.
I was actually referring to another thread on FR that DID label anti-soccer folks as “Haters”. Sorry...can’t find it now, so you will just have to believe me.
I saw it, and it shows that you are worked up over nothing. Seriesly, nothing.
I’m not worked up at all. I just like to quote Bob Dylan.
And I probably should have included a /s tag. But I didn’t. my bad.
I prefer your condemnation to your suckin' sympathy,
Baby good for nuthin' is good enough for me.
Who exactly are they investigating in the name of? Cameroon is one of the most anti-sodomite countries in the world so I doubt they have homosexual players. Just Mexico horsing around.

VILNIUS, Lithuania -- Police have launched a formal investigation into the brandishing of a racist banner by home fans during Saturday's Euro 2008 qualifier against France, the Lithuanian Football Federation said Monday. That one cost the Lithuanian Soccer Federation 15,000 Swiss francs."The police have started an investigation to find out who is responsible for the incident," said Vaidotas Rastenis, the federation's deputy spokesman. "The federation in turn is to release a statement for the fans related to the incident," he added.
At Saturday's match in the Lithuanian city of Kaunas, home fans displayed a large banner showing an outline map of Africa in the blue, white and red colours of France's national flag, emblazoned with the words: "Welcome to Europe".
The banner appeared to be aimed at France's black players, who make up the majority of the team.

Lithuania condemn 'racist' banner, CNN, March 26, 2007.
For ‘brandishing’ (like a weapon) a racist banner that says...”Welcome to Europe.”!
I thought it was quite creative. But there is a problem, and they had to crack down on it. I mean, throwing bananas at black players is a little over the top.
I’m surprised Banana Man and a Gorilla didn’t run out onto the field with the gorilla chasing the banana!

Very racist indeed!
Take their trademark away and sell the team to a California billionaire!
