Very good, A+ for you. In my mind, I always thought strident had more of a positive connotation, as forward-moving, serious, etc. That’s why I chose it today, to remind me it means shrill.

Thank you! The first time I heard that word was when my mom used it to describe an uncle’s wife who pretty much screeched about everything.
