Can't wait until October when "The Walking Dead" returns? Good thing AMC is looking out for you with an all-things-zombie celebration over Fourth of July weekend: There's a "TWD" Season 5 preview edition of "Talking Dead" and two new documentaries to tide you over until the fall.
AMC will celebrate "Dead, White and Blue" weekend starting July 4 at 9 a.m. ET/PT when the network begins airing every episode of "The Walking Dead," which will culminate in a "Talking Dead Season 5 Preview Special" on Sunday, July 6 at 9 p.m. ET/PT with guests Aisha Tyler and showrunner Scott M. Gimple and hosted by Chris Hardwick.
But that's not all of the new "TWD" content. AMC has produced two new "Walking Dead" documentaries set to air in July. "Inside The Walking Dead" will premiere Tuesday, July 8 at 10 p.m. ET/PT and feature a behind-the-scenes look at how the show is made.
"Inside The Walking Dead: Walker University" will bow Tuesday, July 15 at 10 p.m. ET/PT and will give an inside look -- from makeup to choreography and more -- on the transformation from extra to walker.
Closed captioning is awesome! I can’t stand having to rewind a scene over and over trying to figure out what one of the characters said!
Bwahahaha! :)
I’m liking “The Last Ship” so far. A fair amount of action in the first 2 episodes.
I watch “Falling Skies”, and I think cripplecreek watches it, too.
Pretty confusing first episode. I haven’t watched the second episode yet.
:)
I noticed and was happy to see it.
Hi, CJ. Okay, another recommendation...maybe I can remember to look up the schedule and check it out. *sigh*

I read they have a new showrunner. The second episode was better, but the Nazi-type school is just so heavy-handed, even down to the Aryan boy in charge. It bugs me.
Does anyone watch "Under The Dome?" It's the worst show I've ever seen, bar none. I really wish "Mystery Science Theater 3000" was still around to give it the proper treatment.
I watch falling skies and I’m kind of confused about what happened between seasons. They were fleeing from Charleston at the end of the last episode of last season and returning to Charleston the first episode of this season.
Defiance is back on SyFy too which is good.
I’ve watched two episodes of The Last Ship but I’m unsure about it. Adam Baldwin is so subdued that he seems almost like an extra.
I watched a couple of episodes of Defiance last year, but I drifted away from it.
That’s another thing with Falling Skies...it’s as though a lot of stuff happened between this season and the last, and you’re left trying to figure out what the heck you missed. Geez, just give us a good story.
There was a lot that happened between last season and this season on Defiance but they ran several “minisodes” online to keep viewers updated.
I like the wild west feel of Defiance and their resistance to the big government Earth Republic. Defiance is occupied by the ER now and the people are growing restless.
Yeah, it does have a frontier feel to it. I could pick up on that even after a couple of episodes.
Are the minisodes still online?
Yeah they cover the early years when Nolan found Aryssa and his search for her after her dive into the pit at the end of the first season.

BTW James Riley just informed me by way of twitter that his show “Courage New Hampshire” is airing in my neck of the woods this week.

Its like Turn but is set a few years earlier before the revolution.
Thanks, CC, going to check out your link tomorrow.
This looks good, too....bookmarking.
TWD BTTT!
