Please quit talking about a 90-minute drought in scoring. There was no 90-minute drought in scoring.
There was a long drought - 81-1/2 minutes - but three goals were scored in the first ninety minutes.

I can always tell who the soccer “fans” are in any soccer thread...
There were 5+ minutes of extra time in the first half and another 5 at the end of regulation...
So by your logic that’s 86 1/2 minutes between goals...
And technically, 3 goals were scored in 100 minutes...

I stand corrected and I apologize. There were 101-1/2 minutes between goals and you are right.
I was frustrated at the percentage of time that Ghana had possession inside the USA half of the pitch. We can't do that against Portugal or (especially) Germany.
