I am a baseball fan, btw. Would you like me to post some Minor League scores as well? Will you then argue that people don't give a rat's ass about baseball?

I implied nothing... those were simply facts... There was a 90 minute drought in scoring...
The rule changes in the NFL certainly benefit the offense. That doesn’t stop the defense from intercepting a pass in their own endzone and running it back for a score...

Nothing prettier than a baseball diamond, imo. And you can watch the grass grow on them, also.Fair enough.

well, at least we can agree on something...
Not to hijack the thread, but RIP Tony Gwynn. Besides Rod Carew, one of the all time best hitters I was privileged to watch...

Read your comment #5 again. It was an opinion, followed by facts, followed by something about NASCAR.
And if the game had ended 1-0, and you only watched the last 25 minutes, you'd have missed the goal (but not some scoring opportunities).
Apocryphal quote by Greg Luzinski: "I'm not a athlete. I am a professional baseball player." He's my hero.

And baseball can have hours between runs, and gridiron can have tens of minutes/hrs between scores.

Sure, it was a nil-nil draw, but I defy anyone to come up with a more exciting 45-minute period in any sport. Closie upon closie upon closie. That’ll get your heart pumping.

It will be interesting to see if the Russian supporters in the crowd will be Pro-Putin or not.
