I wouldn’t eat it if I had tree-rat available. I try to avoid carnivores, in general. Herbivores and omnivores(pigs) make much better food.

Some of the old mountain men thought mountain lion was the best.

I've eaten mountain lion. A guy my dad was deer hunting with shot one, and had the ranch hands (Mexicans) skin it out for him so he could have it mounted. They made chili with the meat. I got to try some.

I wasn't impressed.
