My Dad was a veteran of WW2 and Korea.

The oceans were in much more danger back then, as the world was tossing battleships, airplanes, aircraft carriers, nuclear bombs, fuel, and human bodies by the ton into those very oceans.

Somehow, the oceans survived.

My Dad, however, did NOT survive the VA’s neglect.

My Mom took care of him at home for ten years, as he wasted away with alzheimers. For nearly the same length of time, she begged the VA for assistance and was refused.

Sorry to hear about your dad. He deserved, and all Veterans deserve the very best care our nation can offer, not the second rate treatment and outright neglect they've had to endure.

This issue should be top priority for all politicians.
