Chappaqua is one of those “old money” towns. The prop taxes on their mansion has got to be at least $20k. Years ago while the limousine liberals who lived there pointed their fingers of self righteous indignation at the South over segregation, Jim Crow, etc. Blacks and Jews had less of a chance at joining their country clubs as the Jets have at winning a Super Bowl.
For 20 years I owned a small, sturdy and cozy ranch house in an upper middle class suburb of Boston. This suburb, once pretty solidly conservative, had turned Marxist in the few years after I arrived.About ten years after I bought it my neighborhood became *very* hot and house values skyrocketed.Well, during this time a proposal was made to build a few units of "affordable" housing in a fairly small plot of open land.As you can probably guess, the locals went bat$hit."You can't do that...think of the dangers that increased traffic would cause for our children",they'd say. They were very careful not to speak their *true* minds..."think of all the unwashed minorities it will bring".
Also,if you have some free time google "Commonwealth Day School".It's a tale of the filthy racist phoniness of the brightest among us...the faculty and top administrators of Harvard University itself. In fact the student newspaper,The Harvard Crimson, did some pretty good coverage of it.The more you research this the more likely you are to puke on your keyboard.Boston Marxism at its most disgusting.
