If you have to have something smaller than, say a Walther PPK, then it might make sense. It doesn’t look like it should be that expensive to make so maybe a similar design could be made which functions well for only a $180 or so.

My Caliber of choice? .32 H&R magnum. Then you can use several different cartridges in it according to how much recoil you could stand.

I believe I would prefer a Walther TPH if you can find one. It is probably about the same size as the derringer yet holds 7 .22LR cartridges and is double action/single action which I prefer.
