I know this is going to be so old fashioned of me - but people don’t get married anymore it seems until the “baby is on the way.”

we have made it too acceptable to not have commitment and stability before dragging a little one into the mess.

I just remembered something- They could already be in a "Common Law" Marriage.

Not that would make it right by Our older beliefs but in many States it is as little as 6 months of "co-habitation"
