“Get my drift?”
Nope. A congregation can only be removed from the SBC at the Convention, which takes place once each year. The church that now accepts homosexuality has only done so recently, and thus was not subject to removal at the 2013 Convention. If the Convention takes no action, which is highly unlikely, THEN complain.
“the admission of a Muslim student to a Southern Baptist seminary”
This came to light last month. It is likely to be addressed at the Convention. There won’t be many folks supporting using Cooperative Program funds to support non-Christians in a SBC seminary.
Claiming “Southern Baptists are becoming more PC....why dont they just elect Gene Robinson and be done with it already?” is pretty ridiculous.
“With 5,001 registered messengers and 3,553 ballots cast, Floyd received 1,834 votes, or 51.62 percent. Kim, pastor of Global Mission Church of Greater Washington in Silver Spring, Md., received 1,446 votes or 40.70 percent while Moore, pastor of New Salem Baptist Church in Hustonville, Ky., received 210 votes or 5.91 percent. Moore is the current second vice president of the Southern Baptist Convention.”
