My ancestors in the Florida Panhandle did everything in their power to eliminate gators, rattlers, coral snakes etc.
They did a pretty good job on the gators but now they are really making a comeback.
When I was a kid in Fla gators were totally protected because they really had been killed off. Now they are in every backyard down there.
