Someone told me that a chihuahua was a self-defense dog, used for protection. Hair-trigger anger, very willing to bite (ankles), and a huge distraction if you intend to harm the owner. I can’t verify the truth in that, but having known several of these ill-tempered yappers, there may be truth in that.
Importing Burmese Pythons from Florida might do the trick, if you can get rid of the pythons when the dogs are gone.
Our high desert gorillas will probably be lured down to the city by them. They consider python a delicacy.
