A Houston mother with her two young children in a vehicle was fatally wounded after being involved in a car crash Wednesday afternoon, but its what happened after that stunned onlookers.
Eyewitnesses told police that people were spotted stealing groceries out of the front seat of the dead womans Toyota 4-Runner, KTRK-TV reported.
You see the person dead. How do you feel taking the persons groceries? onlooker Sheila Katoo told the local ABC affiliate.
Its unbelievable, I have never heard of such a thing, another witness said.

It seems to be happening everywhere, like a collective loss of any sense of right and wrong.
November 6, 2012 proved that theory beyond a shadow of doubt.
I’ve seen some Civil War era photos of dead soldiers. No boots, pockets turned inside out.
When I travel and I’m alone, I put a waterproof note saying where I’m staying and how to contact my next of kin inside one sock and in a pocket that contains nothing else. I figure the one I keep in my wallet will be lost to the first person who finds me or whoever did me in.
Coupled with “no sense of right and wrong” is the sense of entitlement. Who are the people teaching entitlement? Government bureaucrats - almost all of them.
Does not seem look like a terribly bad crash. I can’t figure out why people do not wear their seat belts.
The local news broadcast I saw here in Houston said that there were conflicting stories among witnesses as to whether people were stealing the groceries.
Miracle Max: “Whoo-hoo-hoo, look who knows so much. It just so happens that your friend here is only MOSTLY dead. There’s a big difference between mostly dead and all dead. Mostly dead is slightly alive. With all dead, well, with all dead there’s usually only one thing you can do.”
Inigo Montoya: “What’s that?”
Miracle Max: “Go through his clothes and look for loose change.”
It’s Unbelievable that the word “mom” isn’t used in this story.
“It seems to be happening everywhere, like a collective loss of any sense of right and wrong.”
This isn’t even new; decades ago people were trampled to death at a rap concert and people stole their pocketbooks. You could see it clearly on the security cameras. I think the underclass that knew it had no role in the twentieth century certainly knows it is even further marginalized in the twenty first, and for decades has been content to simply be comfortable and enjoy themselves (completely without morality).
The minimum wage hike laws seem designed to counter this; they are springing up in the cities that have the most comfortable standard of living for worthless POSes that will never work, and are probably designed to prevent 100% of the population from taking a similar attitude.
It’s my understanding that’s how it was in the Old West. If you came upon a corpse, it wasn’t uncommon for it to be searched for anything that could prove useful: boots, hat, bullets.
Having said that, as Obama and the feds make an effort to destroy the economy to create a compliant and desperate population, these types of stories will probably become more common.
Didn’t this already post on FR yesterday? Oliver Darcy is such a ripoff artist. But it makes Glenn richer, so it must be ok. I don’t think even 5% of TheBlaze is original content, compared to serious sites like Breitbart or TheDC.
Obama’s America...
More evidence we are witnessing Americas slide to third world status.
The Amish should be repatriated back to the forests of Germany where they can hoot and holler and swing from the trees, and wield their rakes and their hoes and scream at anyone who comes near.
The Amish and other civilizations cannot coexist.
What difference at this point does it make? /s
Not surprised. In 1997 my father had a massive coronary event while sitting at the kitchen table, paying bills. While he was being loaded into the ambulance and his hysterical wife of 55 years was with him, an EMT stole the checkbook.

What else did you expect....?
Back in 1983 my dad lived next to a bar in Phoenix,AZ. He lived in a crappy little travel trailer. He would walk to the bar and drink and then back to the trailer to sleep it off. One night he died in his sleep. The regular bar flies checked on him one day and found him. They went through his pockets and stole his wallet as he lay dead. These are the same guys my dad would cal his “drinking buddies.” Some ending for a father of four WW2 Vet.
