I’ve got an idea. Instead of just a piece of paper, they could have a ceremony with all your friends and relatives in attendance. Maybe someone has thought of this before?

I always hope that, human nature being what it is, some radically rad movement would eventually start up to re-invent marriage. That is, to guarantee mutual, adult consent and shared responsibility in dealing with sexual intercourse and its consequences.
