I don’t like Tom Cruise. When he’s on screen, the cameras make a point of making sure you only notice him and nothing else.

Already done - Rod Serling.
Never mind; color film and a big-name star are everything these days.

I’ve decided to boycott all his movies because, frankly, he’s nuts.

$178 million? How much of that went to a few actors?
That’s crazy. I probably won’t see it in my lifetime, although it doesn’t look all that bad in the trailer.

Tom Cruise plays Master Chief? Die, spawn, fight, die, spawn, repeat until win.
At least there is a modicum of originality here, namely the aliens do the same type of thing.

Does anyone else feel like I do that special effects killed movies? Special effects just suck the life out of a great plot or story line.

I’ll oppose the majority here and say that I think this movie is going to be awesome. Yeah, it’s Ground Hog Day and a bunch of other movies combined, but who doesn’t like some good action? I plan on seeing it when it comes out over here, which will be Friday.

You want nuts? Listen to this: Tom Cruise talks about his
religion.

Tom Cruise can be just fine in the right role - his last sci-fi film “Oblivion” was pretty good, I thought. Just my 2 cents.

I saw the previews of this yesterday when I saw the new X Men movie, which by the way is very good, and I thought it looked very interesting and will definitely go see it this weekend.

There just isn’t anything worse than a Tom Cruise Sci Fi Film. The last invasion film he did turned my face red.

Cruise dies dozens of times over and over, often in comical ways. Does this sound like a great movie, or what?
Dying again and again, Cruise has rarely been so likable,
Okay, I’m sold.
To: Perdogg
Looks like a good action movie, even if it does star Tom Cruise.

Put your money where your mouth is: If you are against Hollywood liberals, political correctness, and just plain stupidity, then don't spend your money in movie theaters. It's as simple as that. I am against scientology and truly believe that the people who practice it are extremely ignorant, if not stupid. I have not been to a movie theater in over two decades. I don't believe that my life has suffered in the slightest bit. I certainly do not intend to spend my hard-earned money at the theater to watch this movie knowing that a significant percentage is going to Tom Cruise who will use that money to tithe and promote these wacko freakazoids.
