I think the Wachowskis' tandem are one hit wonders with the first Matrix movie. Usually a move like this from the peak summer season to the dead period of Feb would spell doom for the movie but the article points out that might be changing. The trailers look spectacular and it does have Sean Bean; hopefully he will make it through the whole movie.

Will it star Bradley Manning?

Bad idea to release a trailer for a movie in trouble. It looks like a stupid, very loud two hours of headache-inducing super woofers and mind-numbingly bad plot. Rent “Flight of the Phoenix” (1966 version not the awful 2006 remake) or “The Sand Pebbles” and see great action movies that are character-driven and have no SFX.

I love scifi, but this film looks and smells weak sauce. Never liked Tatum, but wow do they make him look bad in the trailers. Terrible look for his character. Maybe this will end up enjoyable, but I have my doubts.

I heard the working title was "Uranus is Lovely."
There. That's done.
