Now I know how Jonathan Swift felt when his satirical proposal that the Irish should eat their own children was accepted as a realistic suggestion to ease hunger. It is increasingly difficult to distinguish satire from faithful reporting.

I do not believe in satire any more. People don’t seem to understand satire, or what is and isn’t. Satire just spreads craziness a little further. I can promise my liberal cousin will post this in several places- especially facebook in the next week or so as proof that veterans just set O up to make him look bad. I can also promise his post will be shared by many like minded liberals and not a one will recognize that it is satire, or care.
