I would say that Raymond Daniell’s prediction that Stalin did not intend to Sovietize the Balkans was just a little inaccurate.

Daniell must have been a buddy of Walter Duranty. Those lovable Sov’s wouldn’t throw an iron curtain across Europe, now would they?
