I watched the show on a tiny black and white tv with rabbit ears. I watched it secretly because I was convinced that my comedy writer relatives would have mocked me for watching a Brit Com. One day I came down into the family room and saw them openly watching it. It was at exactly the moment when the amazing Twit Race skit came on. From then on, I watched it openly.
Did you have the penguin on top?
I >love< the twit race skit. My favorite next to the Holy Grail is “And Now For Something Completely Different.”
I introduced my son and his friend to it when they were eight years old. It inspired them to do create their own video of “how not to be seen.” I loved the Dirty Hungarian Phrasebook and of course the old classic “nudge nudge.”
And Vocational Guidance Counselor was especially funny since my wife is a accountant.
