At best he’s a guy who made a boneheaded mistake which resulted in the deaths, injuries, and increased risk to many of his fellow soldiers as they looked for him. The 5 Taliban leaders exchanged for him will certainly resume their jihad and kill numerous Afghans and as many Americans as they can. This deal is already being used as a victory by our enemies.

At worst he’s a traitor whose actions have killed Americans and will most likely kill many more.
