In addition to Red Friday, today is also Sound Off Day at Amy's Place.

Since tomorrow is the first day of summer, would you like to share your plans?
I'm sure Marissa has lots of things planned for me. LOL

OK..I am going to “sound off”!

Yesterday, I was attempting to enter a gated community to teach a student.

Guard: Who are you going to see?
Me. Streisand”
Guard: Spell that please?
me: S.T.R.E.I.S.A.N.D.
Guard: Huh? could you spell it again?
Me: Streisand. Like the singer.
Guard: Who?
Me: You know. Barbra Streisand. The Singer.
Guard: How do you spell that?
Me: Like the singer.
Guard: What singer?
Me: Barbra Streisand.
Guard: Never Heard of Her.
Other Guard (they come in pairs): I’ve heard of her.
Guard: Who?
Other Guard:The Singer.
Me. Barbra Streisand.
Guard: I must be culturally deprived. I never heard of her.
Me: She was really famous once.
Guard:Really? Is that who you are going to see?
Me: No. I am going to teach music.
Guard: What do you teach?
Me: Voice.
Guard: But I thought you said she was already a famous singer.
Me: No no no, not Barbra Streisand, AMY Streisand.
Guard: How do you spell that?

Oh it’s Sound Off Day, eh?

Hmmm. I will sound off about the lying local TV news anchors who gleefully have been saying that Gov. Walker is a crook when they know he is not.

How about the liars protecting Bronco Bama during the IRS scandal hearings, saying “oppsie, all those emails are gone!”.

Add the million other lies and offenses to America we’ve endured since you know who has been in office.

So turns out I do have something to Sound Off about.
