Hear hear. In my fantasy world, “intentional infliction of emotional distress” would once again be a crime. The kind of prank that frightens you or makes you angry or worried or sad could land you in jail.
I’m ok with the “WTF?” class of pranks. That was Candid Camera’s speciality. A guy drives into a gas station in a tiny foreign sports car with a secret 100-gallon tank, a guy calmly asks for your help in getting him out of a mailbox, that kind of thing.
Ha, if Fred Phelps never got charged for it, then I’d say it doesn’t exist.
Thanks for posting the after interview of the questions from viewers. The son is a cutie and I like the way he laughs. I think they love each other a lot. The dad getting so angry and emotional tells me that as well as how they acted in the after interview. No, not a good prank to do on his dad, but I think they’ll survive and now the son knows he definitely better not be getting a girl pregnant outside of wedlock...lol!
You should have seen the look on my mom’s face when I pranked her by tell her I had AIDS. Priceless! /s

Not funny at all. As a note, his dad swings like a girl.
