SoundFlower doesn’t download a file from a site. It captures the audio stream as you play it. It’s a last resort for me when sites don’t allow you to download a file. It works well, but you have to set the computer up to play the entire stream, capture it, then do some cleanup in an audio editor at the beginning and end, save MP3, etc. Not hard, but time consuming, so I don’t do it that often. I sometimes do it to listen to CSPAN items that don’t allow file downloads and don’t post their stuff to iTunes Podcasts.
