1961 Chevy BelAir. Bought it from a preacher’s wife, who literally only drove it on weekends. Straight six, with a two speed triple disc wet clutch. It was only running on four of the six cylinders when I bought it for fifty of the hardest earned dollars of my life.
Rebuilt the head and whooped a tune up on it. Ran like a champ. And there was enough room in the back seat for four buddies (and their dates).
Had a great time, but I don’t want to go back...
1969 Impala SS with a 427 and Muncie four speed. Paid $900 for it in 1977. Wish I had that car now as a collector car
