Round Rock police shot and killed a dog Friday inside its owner's home. The owner was at work when it happened.
Russell Lane says he got an alert that his alarm system was going off this morning. Minutes later his neighbor called saying shots had been fired inside his home.

I wonder if the dog was wearing a mask or a hoodie? That would explain it...
I’m just throwing this out there...Whatever happened to watching the front and back doors to see if anyone comes out???
Darling girl, I AM the spelling police!!! I have a picture of my official badge around here somewhere......now where is it?????????
I wouldn’t go that far.
@ TADSLOS Thank you for the warning. I need to bring my computer to Austin to be repaired. My dogs go everywhere with me & they are not friendly to anyone approaching the car. (I guess I’ll come alone & leave them with DH)
Claymores and napalm
Looks like a vicious pit dachshund to me.
LOL, wouldn’t surprise me although I have never heard that. It would sure be a wise move if you could pull it off. The differences in cost and aggravation are stunning! Even I would do a little begging!
Couldn’t agree more. It’s almost like they (police chiefs) think they can operate a police force successfully while ignoring public opinion.
yes!......start eating intending to eat one and before you know it your on your sixth! They are UNBELIEVABLE! But, get em hot!
Simply called: “Round Rock Donuts”.
I mean, don’t these dang cops have dogs! The only way I would shoot dog is if he had been knowing on my leg and was about to bite it off and run away with it!
No sir! I guarantee you the thought never entered their walnut sized brain.
This is getting bad. Does our government have anything to do with this?

Word to the wise...
Quit asking rude questions, CurlyDave.
Theyre everywhere.
No idea how I can hide them and still leave their full viewing angles intact.

One of the officers fired a single shot; the second officer fired six rounds. Stuart said the dog kept coming at them after being shot the first time.
Yes, and it was throwing poisoned ninja Stars of Death, while doing back-flips like in the Chinese martial arts movies. And it pulled two samurai swords on them. And nun-chuks.
Don't forget the nun-chuks.
What a lying sack of Fascist slime. He would have had a good shot at filling Gay Jay Carney's newly open position, if only he'd graduated from Rice...
Oops! Never mind! [still giggling]
The dog owner should check for "residual DNA"...
That is good info, I appreciate the heads up.
I do not activate mine ever.
I basically only use it for the little beep beep beep I hear anytime a door or window opens, and that is it.
I do not want my dog shot by cops.
I’d rather be burgled honestly, because I would flip out if they shot my dog inside my house. I think it would likely end with me leaving this rock that same day.
