Justifiable lawsuit to follow.
Justifiable asskicking to follow.
Both work for me.
We have waaaay too many people wearing badges and uniforms these days. Put a uniform and a badge on an a-hole and you’ve still got an a-hole. But now he’s got a badge and a uniform and he just can’t wait to use them.
Good grief - the *security* guard smacked so hard that he knocked the wheelchair bound kid out of his chair! The students injuries were so bad, he had to be taken to the hospital.
The kid had cerebal palsy. His “crime” was being in the hallway too long. Don’t most these kids have aids to help them from class to class anyway?
I think by high school, some of these kids are allowed/able to get to where they’re going on their own.
I remember seeing our neighbors son - who has CP - moving about in the hallways alone, his senior year. I’d imagine the aides go looking for them, if they’re not in class a few minutes after the bell.
And yet the security guard was supported by some students at the school. No doubt black students, maybe a few white leftist spew as well, since the guard was black.

That’s a shame. Our students were VERY protective of our Special Needs kids - regardless of race. But, so were our security guards.
Seems as though some training and getting to know the handicapped students would be in order.
Seems as though not hiring sociopaths would be in order.
Sick. What’s really sick is the fact that there are even security guards at a school. We sure didn’t have any at the schools I attended in the 1950s and ‘60s. Just WWII combat vets as teachers. Everyone stayed in line.
A very bad situation.
“Despite the violent attack, Oakland High students started a petition demanding the school to bring back the popular security guard. They said the victim is a known troublemaker and provoked the attack.”
This is an Oakland school system which is probably like trying to teach a bunch of school age GITMO detainees that are allowed to roam the halls. I imagine the kids that would like to learn are terrorized by the feral students. I watched a video of the kid and he seems none the worse for wear. Looks like a punk who’s future would be jail except for the fact that being in a wheelchair will probably prevent him from committing crimes that he otherwise would probably be involved in.
It IS a shame. But usually black people are protective of black people first. And the security guard was black.
It’s a good thing the security guard wasn’t a cop. The kid would have been arrested for spitting on the cop, obstructing justice, interfering with an officer and given a prison sentence. Meanwhile the cop would have been held faultless. Dumping the kid out of the wheel chair was a defensive move approved by the PD in situations where the officers security is at risk.
The only thing missing is the ‘justice for treyvon’ banners and the rent-a-cop yelling ‘this is for treyvon’ you white-hispanic black hater. Jesse, Al and the black pampers soon to follow in backing the security guard from the raysists.

“Oakstan”
Um...are y’all NUTS? This “kid” assaulted an adult! So do we now support “slapping” someone who does something we don’t care for??
There was nothing preventing the kid from using his words and saying “Please don’t wheel me, I got this.” but instead his first thoughts were that it was ok to swing on an adult in authority.
