In all seriousness, I bet they will rope off 100 acres around the fence in Wyoming where Matthew Shepard was found tied to and near death. I see where the two kids that killed him are doing life - they should have been executed.

One of them may well have been innocent. The other guilty a hell.

I advise you to read “The Book of Matthew” for a full account of that little, self-pitying, drug-addicted boy with very uncontrolled hands when among complete male strangers, and yet pushy enough to try to take over Laramie’s well-entrenched and very dangerous drug lords.

Not exactly the Little Lord Fauntleroy story presented in the newspapers.

Well that would be silly, unless the LBG community is into memorializing gay on gay violence.

“The gay magazine The Advocate said in a review that Jimenez “amassed enough anecdotal evidence to build a persuasive case that Shepard’s sexuality was, if not incidental, certainly less central than popular consensus has lead us to believe.”
The magazine went on, “There are valuable reasons for telling certain stories in a certain way at pivotal times, but that doesn’t mean we have to hold on to them once they’ve outlived their usefulness.”
