Origin: It's from the Norwegian kveis or "uneasiness following debauchery," and the Greek algia, which means "pain," as in the pain-reliever called an analgesic.

Incidentally, the Norwegians have an even more colorful word for this condition: if you have a hangover in Norway, you're said to have toemmermenn, or literally, "lumberjacks" -- presumably some who are plying their trade bright and early inside your head.

Actually I think it is more likely some gun-toting Texan Dad will just shoot the freak....then face the death penalty for daring to protect his child from a predator because of this stupid legislation

Yes but I think this bill will mean even looking sideways at anyone claiming to be gay will mean the death penalty for the evil white republican.
“he needed killing” is sometimes a defense, isn’t it? I don’t know anyone who hasn’t said that at least once in conversation about a bad person who met a bad end because, well-he needed killing, but I’ve been shouted at, called a bitch and worse for saying it in conversation with people who are not from around here, as in Texas/the Southwest...
I don’t see that working anywhere but in places like the non-straight Disneyland neighborhoods of big cities, and I don’t see it going anywhere in areas with a large minority population-like Hispanics, etc-nope, not at all...
Well, it passed. Crying and hugs all over the room when the vote was announced... 11 for and 6 against. Not sure what happened because it was claimed to have been tied with one vote that was going to determine. Several people caved.
The cure for a hangover never changes....1 quart of Gatorade, and 2 advil...before bed.....you’ll feel a little...thin..mentally..but not hungover...
