If you served that public school lunch in a prison there would be 97 lawsuits filed the following morning.

“’Let’s Move’ Lunches”

That’s truth in advertising, I suppose, but they might want to rethink the name.

The presidents spouse has no authority to make rules for anything. No more so than the spouse of a hired manager of any company. Michelle should shut up and tend to her family.

While the Obama daughters have enjoyed dishes like chicken coconut soup, local butternut squash soup, crusted tilapia, they also get their fill of what Mrs. Obama might consider junk food... meatball subs, BBQ wings, and ice cream...

This reminds me of a story in which Chin Hui-ti, who reigned as emperor of China in the late third century AD was told that his subjects did not have enough rice to eat. He is said to have responded, "why don't they eat meat?"

It’s almost like rich people get better stuff than the average Joe.

Does anyone remember “We can’t have 5% of the world’s population and use 25% of the world’s resources and expect the world to say that’s OK.”

Anyone? Anyone? I remember it well, and knew exactly what it meant. Feeding our kids slop while 0bama’s kids dine like elite royalty is what it meant.

Geesh. Food looks just as disgusting now as it did back when I was a kid over 30 years ago. If I forgot to bring a sack lunch I didn’t eat. Even if I got the free lunch coupons I wouldn’t eat that crap. There was always a way to hustle some food.

I thought gruel was only in books.
