You know what they should get rid of. Time zones and daylight savings time. The U.S. should abolish 2 of the 4 time zones and just have an Eastern and Western time zone with the Mississippi River being the dividing line. Abolish Daylight Savings Time altogether.
Productivity would shoot through the roof.

Yeah, because LA and St Louis have sooo much in common... including a sunrise and sunset that are over 2:40 min apart
