If you want to see the idiocy of MLB territories, look at this map... In some areas six different teams claim the territory, and all are blacked out if you don't have a regional sports network carrying that team. My local cable doesn't carry Chicago teams, but I'm in their coverage are, so no games despite paying for the MLB.TV package.

Same situation happens to a friend of mine. She lives in the Dallas area, pays for the MLB Extra Innings package on DirecTV, and has every Houston Astros game blacked out. And the Astros games are not even broadcast on her regional sports networks. Only Texas Rangers games are shown on the regional sports networks in her area.
