You know complaining has gone on for more that that but it only gets worse. Do you suggest a earlier or later year? Please, it seems to be a problem without scope and will continue to get worse. As the years go by, folks that benefit from their sacrifice continue to age - maybe that is the problem. Only those involved in the wars really appreciate what they accomplished.
