The structure of my soil is such that it spreads 6 inches or more. I also use 6 inch spacing on a few beds as my rows ore only 12 feet long.

I dug the first of the Garlic varieties Wednesday. This is Chinese Early and it matured before the garlic rust hit the rest of the plants. There are some nice sized bulbs this year…
