How far is this from King Harald’s battle with Harald Hardrada at Stamford Bridge?

The site where King Harold II died. The inscription says:
"The traditional site of the High Altar of Battle Abbey founded to commemorate the victory of Duke William on 14 October 1066. The high altar was placed to mark the spot where King Harold died."

Harold's body was later moved to Waltham Abbey in Essex.

IIRC the English army had to hump it around 220 miles from Stamford Bridge to Hastings. I believe——guess-——that the bridge was the site of an old Roman structure.

I have long wondered what the heck happened to all the leftover Norse ships that they could not man any more. Have never seen anyone address that.

Kind of weird that Harald and Harold were both slain by archers.
